Day 01 Hanoi - Arrival (D)
... Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to hotel.
p.m. City tour (if time permits): Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Fine Art Museum, Quan Thanh Temple. Dinner at local restaurant.
Evening: Water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art.

Day 02 Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast.
a..m. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole October-November) and Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Army Museum. Lunch at a restaurant.
Drive to Halong (170 km east of Hanoi) via Hai Phong with bridge and ferry crossing.
Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 03 Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Breakfast.
a.m. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A 5-hour boat trip will bring you to Thien Cung and Dau Go caves. Seafood lunch on board.
p.m. Drive back to Hanoi.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 04 Hanoi – Hue (B/L/D)
Breakfast.
a.m. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty. Arrival in Hue, transfer to downtown. Lunch at local restaurant.
p.m. Sightseeing in Hue with visit to the royal tombs of King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh and Tu Dam pagoda.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 05 Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B/L/D)
Breakfast.
Take a dragon boat on Huong river, passing by the house-boat village and Dong Ba market to Thien Mu Pagoda then visit Minh Mang tomb and the ruin of royal residence at Imperial Citadel. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon: depart Hue for Hoi An across to Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit Cham Museum and proceed to Hoi An.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 06 Hoi An - Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Breakfast.
a.m. Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An market, Tan Ky old house, Japanese covered bridge, Fukien Assembly Hall.
p.m. Transfer to Danang airport for evening flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
